The Pelvic Portal Method is a unique and transformative approach to exploring and reconnecting with the pelvis – a source of vitality, creativity, and pleasure. Developed by Orly Portal, this method combines ancient wisdom from Eastern, North African, and Atlas Mountain cultures with modern understandings. Through exercises and floor positions, the participants energize and rediscover the pelvis. Additionally, they will learn parts from Orly’s creations Rabia, Fakaruni, and The Rite of Spring of Farid El-Atrache. Orly Portal is a choreographer, dancer, and musician. She is the founder of the Orly Portal Dance Company and creator of a unique dance language blending ancient Moroccan, Persian-Sufi, and Egyptian traditions with contemporary movement.
