WS 2: Improvisation – The Body Between Reality and Imagination

with Bára Sigfúsdóttir (ISL)

14 – 18 May 2019 | Potsdamer Tanztage 2019Dance and movement

What is the body capable of? Guided improvisations dissolve the boundaries between physical and imagined movements. The resulting presence, the handling of gravity, rhythm and musicality as well as the relationship of the body in space promote the variation of movements. Listening with one’s whole being allows creativity to unfold through the body. The dancer and choreographer Bára Sigfúsdóttir sensitizes different sensory qualities in her performances.
