Using the principles of Alexander Technique, the participants explore the connection between pain, posture, presence, and performance. Focusing on the interplay between tension, attention, and intention, the aim is to change unwanted habits, to think more clearly, to resolve problems, to move more easily, and to breathe more freely.Alexander Technique’s principles are the base for Countertechnique. Tom Koch was the teacher at William Forsythe’s Ballet Frankfurt for years and also taught companies such as Netherlands Dance Theater, Tanztheater Wuppertal, and Anouk van Dijk.
