Inspired by the relationship between humans and horses, the workshop works with images that show forms of care across different times and cultures. The focus lies on how care is given and received, and how it shapes the body. Participants explore the images together. Through movement, they investigate gestures, postures, and the invisible political, social, and cultural forces that influence action. In this way, a choreography emerges that makes the connection between body, history, and social forces tangible. Elisabete Finger studied dance and choreography in various places, including at CNDC d’Angers (FR) and in the MA SODA program (UdK/HZT Berlin). Her works have been presented in both dance and visual art contexts.
