It starts with a guided meditation - that then moves into focused, isolated and flowing movements, freely improvised and interpreted. Joint interactions, contact and improvisation end in a short meditation and sharing. Mind Body & Soul Dance is a holistic dance experience for mind, body & soul. Suitable for everyone - no previous experience needed, no pressure to perform. The key is the willingness to get involved and safe space is the foundation for all participants. Enjoy movement, improvisation, dance and meditation. Good physical health is an advantage in order to be able to participate fully in the workshop. Please bring comfortable clothing and socks to allow freedom of movement.
Sarah Haack loves to create safe and creative spaces, whether as a choreographer, coach or facilitator. Since the age of 4 she has been trained in ballet RAD, Modern Theater Dance + Tap ISTD, Jazz and Contemporary. This was followed by musical training and she was part of the ART OF JAZZ company. In the last 17 years she has taught ballet, modern, tap, jazz and contemporary, worked with her competition teams, choreographed numerous contemporary dances for competitions, stage shows, cultural events and various solos for the entrance exams to dance colleges for her students. She initiated and was involved in cultural and artistic projects. She has given various workshops and taught freelance for the last few years. She is a trained Life amd Team Coach and has developed her own Conscious Format – Mind Body & Soul Dance, in which improvisation and meditation flow together.
