Biography in Movement

"Yes how good that not everything is lost, that at least the memory remains or: And you want to send us a wedding roast? That's great!"

Under the title "Biography in Movement: Research - Conception - Planning", Eva is currently working within DIS-TANZ-SOLO to investigate and further develop the mutual complementation and cross-fertilization of the fields of dance/movement and biography work.

Together with the dancers she goes on time travels and searches for traces. Stories, memories, but also objects or music serve as inspiration for the dance research. As a choreographer, she wants to create spaces in which the dancers, with or without a professional background, can meet on an equal footing and make contact with each other. Age differences, physical possibilities or limitations are not an obstacle, but an enrichment.

"For the artistic research at the Rechenzentrum Potsdam, I would like to invite the (amateur) dancer Ulrike Enders. Using text fragments and excerpts from her mother's letters from 1949 - 1953, we want to investigate how these can be used as inspiration and starting point for the biographical-dance work. How do personal and political-social themes meet? Which questions crystallize, which connections and threads can be drawn from the grandparents to the present? And how can this material be dealt with in a choreographic way?"
