Dancer and performer Claudia Marsicano is a truly distinctive presence: with powerful stage presence and affectionate self-irony, she presents R. OSA as a bold and open-hearted one-woman show. The stage becomes a space where vulnerability and strength coexist, and where the body is celebrated as a source of expression, dignity and freedom.
With pride and a high level of physical commitment, Marsicano draws the audience into her orbit through ten “virtuosic” exercises, playfully engaging with expectations and ideals of beauty, with failure and triumph. With humour, tenderness and resistance, Silvia Gribaudi invites us to let go of the weight of norms and to discover new forms of lightness. Since its creation in 2017, R. OSA has been performed more than 200 times across Europe and continues to be one of the Italian choreographer’s most successful works.
