Tango: Basics for Beginners

Tango Argentino is an improvisational dance, a body language that enables harmonious joint movements to music. In this course, people with no previous knowledge can learn how to do this. The very first basics are practised with tanguito: The common harmonic movement in a couple, the elementary navigation in space and the basic elements that are necessary for all more complex movements.

Since 2007, tanguito (Spanish: little tango, tangochen) has existed in Potsdam. Tanguito works on a lively and constantly growing tango scene in Potsdam with ongoing courses and workshops. In addition, tanguito cultivates tango culture with milongas and special events such as ARRABALITO.
