HERE WE ARE

In HERE WE ARE, Anita Twarowska and Murillo Basso come to the Stadt- und Landesbibliothek Potsdam. In collaboration with the video artists avk4, musician Nicolas Schulze and light artists MxM, they create an installation and performance at the intersection of dance and visual arts. This place can be seen as a place of memory and history, as a space filled with a different temporality. Here fiction and historical narratives as well as collectively produced knowledge are collected and protected. It is a space of silence in which the external must come to rest so that internal contents can move and develop. The artists enter this space cautiously and carefully with the attempt to add physical layers and leave the imprint of a very personal encounter. HERE WE ARE, following the pieces For the two of us. For us all (2018) and Let us stay (2020), concludes a trilogy of encounters.
