One More Thing

2G | Adi Boutrous (Tel Aviv)

17 – 18 Nov 2021 | Potsdamer Tanztage 2021Dance / performance

In One More Thing, Israeli choreographer Adi Boutrous draws on rites of passage from East Africa, particularly from boy to adulthood. Swinging and watching each other, the dancers constantly question the relationship between masculinity, power, and cohesion. The piece creates a space for mutual support, in which the individual can show himself and surrender to other bodies, caught and supported by the group, with which he merges again – synchronously, individually and gently.

Afterwards on 18 November 21:30, Vinyl Set by Adi Boutrous (admission free of charge).
