What real effects does life as a couple have on us? The relationship as a psycho-social phenomenon is at the center of the artistic research - conceived as a constellation of dualities.
Landé was inspired by the story of her parents, who decided to leave Haiti and emigrate to Québec on December 25, 1976 with Alexandra, who was nine months old at the time.
How does a relationship survive such a profound, harrowing migration experience? What dynamics emerge in the process?
The creation process extends until May 2026 and ends with the world premiere at the Festival TransAmériques (FTA) in Montréal.
