From 17–23 February, dancer and choreographer Claire F. Crescini will be working at fabrik Potsdam. Her residency project deals with the interface between the female body, pleasure, nature and social expectations. It explores the relationship between pleasure through access to ecosensuality and questions the fragility and power of the female body to give and take life. From this perspective, it questions the stigma and societal expectations surrounding this topic. Through the mentoring process with Sabine Chwalisz, artistic director of fabrik Potsdam, she aims to find dramaturgical and aesthetic support for the production, with the aim of relating the materials of composition and choreographic research to the concept of writing in order to offer the audience an accessible space for experience and reflection.
On Sat 22 Feb at 16:30 she will show the first results of her work in an open studio.
