Together with the artist twins deufert&plischke, the fabrik celebrates dance and its 30th anniversary with a project in which favourite movements and letters to dance are collected for a whole year. Kattrin Deufert and Thomas Plischke invite all those who are curious about dance to a virtual space where they can exchange dance memories, find favourite movements and put them on paper. A small somatic practice focuses the body and bundles the energies to write a letter to dance at the end of the workshop.
This is the opportunity just before the Grand Bal Digital on the 17th of April to contribute with your favorite moves to our anniversary project. Come in large numbers and warm up for this interactive dance party!

deufert&plischke's works reach beyond the framework of dance and theatre and deal with individual participation and everyday social life in artistic events. They are currently developing the Tanzbriefe project Just in Time, co-produced by Tanzfonds Erbe and the Goethe Institut, in Berlin, Tel Aviv, NYC, Düsseldorf, LA (2016-18), Brussels, Rejkiavik and Singapore (2019), among others. The piece Liebestod was presented in 2019 as part of Tanz im August. They work as a professor* at various institutions such as the MA programme Performance Studies Hamburg (2006-10) and the BA programme Dance, Context, Choreography at the Hochschulübergreifendes Zentrum Tanz Berlin (2010-19). In 2015/16 they were coordinators in the newly founded Research Cycle at P.A.R.T.S in Brussels.
