EMBODIED EXPRESSION & COLLECTIVE BODIES

These workshops would form a two-part series exploring improvisation, site-based movement, and interdisciplinary artistic approaches. The first session focuses on dance and instant composition, while the second expands into voice and video documentation, deepening the research.
EMBODIED EXPRESSION (June 15, 2025) introduces participants to improvisation and structured movement scores, working with Body-Mind Centering® principles to explore the relationship between the body, space, and collective presence. The workshop will take place both indoors and outdoors, integrating site-based movement exploration into the practice.
COLLECTIVE BODIES (July 20, 2025) builds upon the first workshop, incorporating voice, sound, and video as tools for movement improvisation. Participants will engage in collective and individual composition, working with movement as a way to explore memory, perception, and site-responsive improvisation.
